The Dual-Screen Nubia X

Image
We have come across phones with dual cameras, dual sims on androids and ios but Nubia x has decided to introduce the 'dual screens' Nubia x is a high-end phone with a Snapdragon 845, 6-8GB of RAM, and a 3,800mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. This phone has a 6.26-inch LCD on the front with a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio. A smaller OLED display lives on the back of the phone, getting rid of the front cameras and forcing you to use the rear cameras for selfies. This is why the freshly-announced Nubia X is a dual-screen flagship smartphone When it's off, the screen disappears in the glass chassis, but you can also have it show photos, a clock, and other items when in use. Since it's a touchscreen, you can also use the OLED to map shoulder buttons into games you're playing on the main display.

Mind Control Drone

Image
What do you feel about controlling robots with your minds. Technology keeps making wave into the future as research engineers discovered a way to control drones with just their thoughts. I strongly believe its now a matter of time before we start controlling our automatic cars with just thoughts. It is said that the engineering doctoral students use a helmet-like device to record electrical signals coming from your brain. The device analyzes the data and then allows you to control the drone’s movements with your thoughts. The researchers say they want to use this technology to help others.

BMW - 'Auto Pilot' Motorcycle

Image
Its safe to say that the development of driver assistance technology has overwhelmed the world with its market, from an automatic pilot to an automatic vehicle. The motorcycles stand to join the list of the 'auto's . Thanks to a new video of a self-driving motorcycle released by BMW Motorrad, the company’s two-wheeler division. BMW Motorrad says it’s been working on the technology for more than two years and the effort was productive. The short video showcases a BMW motorcycle cruising around a test track with no driver, starting from a stop, leaning into turns, and braking all by itself. The plan isn’t to sell a fully self-driving motorcycle, though. Instead, BMW says it wants to offer “more stability in critical riding situations.”

'Artificial Moon To Light Up The Streets'

Image
China and its scientist are planning to Launch an 'Artificial Moon' into orbit by 2020 to Light Up the night skies after dark. The scientists plan to place the artificial moon above the city of Chengdu, the capital of China’s southwestern Sichuan province. Its also reported that it could be eight times more radiant than the actual, original moon. It will also orbit much closer to Earth; about 500 km (310 miles) away, compared to the moon’s 380,000 km (236,000 miles).  Wu Chunfeng, chief of the Tian Fu New Area Science Society, told China Daily.  Its expected brightness, in the eyes of humans, is around one-fifth of normal streetlights.  If the project eventually becomes successful, there could be three more artificial moon additions to the night sky in 2022, But much more testing needs to be done, Wu said. “We will only conduct our tests in an uninhabited desert, so our light beams will not interfere with any people or Earth-based space observation equipment,”...

The World’s Biggest “Brain"

Image
A supercomputer with a million processing cores and 1,200 interconnected circuit board that together operate like a human brain. Scientist have termed it as the 'world’s largest neuromorphic computer'. A type of computer that mimics the firing of neurons. But SpiNNaker doesn’t just “think” like a brain. It creates models of the neurons in human brains, and it simulates more neurons in real time than any other computer on Earth, according to the statement. Furber told Live Science in an email. “Its primary task is to support partial brain models: for example, models of cortex, of basal ganglia, or multiple regions expressed typically as networks of spiking [or firing] neurons,” SpiNNaker will continue to enable scientists to create detailed brain models. But now it has the capacity to perform 200 quadrillion actions simultaneously, university representatives reported in the statement.
